Art-Ish is a range of relaxed, social and beginner-friendly creative workshops designed for adults who want to try something new, have fun and enjoy a little creative time out.

From guided painting and drawing to other creative projects, each workshop is designed to be approachable and enjoyable — whether you’re a complete beginner or already love to create. You’ll be guided through the project step-by-step, with plenty of encouragement and the freedom to add your own creative twist.

I’m your local host for regular Art-Ish workshops around Marlborough, with public and private events held at a range of locations. They’re a great way to explore your creativity in a relaxed environment, or enjoy a fun social experience with friends, family or work groups. Workshops generally cater for 6–20 people, with projects, themes and creative styles changing regularly — so there’s always something new to try!

What to Expect

Your workshop includes the materials and equipment needed for the project, so you can simply turn up and get creative.

You don’t need to be artistic or have any previous experience. Workshops are guided with beginners in mind, and you’ll be supported throughout the process.

Everything you need for the creative project will be provided. Just bring yourself and wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little messy.

Not at all! No previous creative experience is required. Each workshop is guided step-by-step and designed to be accessible to beginners.

Can I take my project home?
Absolutely! Your finished creation is yours to take home and enjoy once the workshop is complete.
